More than 400 organisations are already set to take part in this year's #30days30waysUK campaign during September is Preparedness Month. The EPS 30Days30WaysUK Professional Working Group recently met to begin planning this year’s preparedness campaign, and we’re excited to share an update on what’s coming for 2026.
We are seeking sponsors to help us grow the campaign and expand our public reach. Sponsorship will support new initiatives, increased engagement, and the development of additional resources.
Organisations interested in partnering with us can request our sponsorship information pack.
This year we hope to collaborate with students from disaster management, media, communications, and related courses to support content development. Universities interested in contributing to the campaign are warmly invited to get in touch.
One of our priorities this year is boosting public participation. We are exploring options such as challenges or competitions to encourage residents to get involved, as well as improving promotion of our annual survey to gather stronger insights.

A full programme overview will be published in April.
We plan to make better use of campaign materials throughout the year by sharing monthly preparedness messages in the lead‑up to September. These will link with national initiatives, such as Business Continuity Week and Volunteers’ Week, and will incorporate simple “habit stacking” actions to help people build resilience gradually.
The Professional Group will meet again on 21 May 2026 at 10:00am, and we look forward to sharing further updates soon.
Thank you to everyone involved for your expertise, creativity, and commitment to building community resilience.
